In Yoga and Ayurveda (Yoga’s sister science) the transition between the seasons is considered the most vulnerable time for our health. Especially as we shift from Winter into Springtime our bodies need help detoxifying, and support revitalizing. Luckily our practice can help us line up with nature and step into Springtime with vitality, health and well-being.

In this series we will practice poses that help us deeply detoxify the body. Our sequences will be designed specifically to help support wellness through the Springtime. We’ll move both powerfully and gently to allow the body the support it needs to detoxify and rest. We will incorporate breathwork and restorative poses to add to our seasonal support. Each class we will also explore a different off-the-mat self-care practice that students are encouraged to try that week. These will be based in the practice of Ayurveda.

You can expect:

  • An active, all levels asana class – with poses aimed at helping you transition to and be in Springtime in a healthy way.
  • Restorative poses.
  • Detailed alignment instruction.
  • Options in each pose, so you can find the edge for you that day.
  • Breathwork.
  • Direction for simple, short, vastly supportive self- care practices based in Ayurveda.
